The American Dental Therapy Association is excited to announce the launching of its National Compensation Survey for Dental Therapists. For this survey, dental therapists include advanced dental therapists, dental health aide therapists, dental therapists/hygienists, etc. To participate in this survey, please follow the steps below.

Step 1: Verification - Each dental therapist must complete the online verification form, which allows the ADTA to verify their certification/license. By verifying each certification/license, we can ensure that only dental therapists are completing the National Compensation Survey. 

Step 2: Accessing the Survey - Once the ADTA has verified your information, you will receive a separate email with a survey link and password. Both are required to complete the survey. 

Step 3: Completing the Survey - The National Compensation Survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. Before you access the survey, please ensure you are in a quiet location with good internet access so you are not disturbed. The survey is thorough and will ask questions relating to your position(s), workplace(s), wage(s), benefit(s), and demographics. You will not be able to edit answers once your survey is submitted. Each participant will receive one chance to access the survey to ensure duplicate surveys are not submitted. The deadline to complete your survey is 5:00 pm PDT on Monday, June 24, 2024. 

Step 4: Results - The ADTA will compile all survey information after June 2 and present it to participants in a live webinar. Survey findings will enable participants to negotiate fair and equitable wages and benefits with current or future employer(s). The ADTA will use the email you provided in your verification form (from step 1) to communicate with you about the webinar day/time.
